Cynthia Macdonald combines wit and technical sophistication in bravura poems of terrifying insight. A former opera singer and Freudian lay analyst, Macdonald developed the distinguished creative writing program at the University of Texas at Houston and has published six books of poetry including Living Wills, Alternate Means of Transport, and I Can’t Remember.
