The Folger Theatre performed their production of Maxwell Anderson's Elizabeth the Queen from March 22 to May 4, 2003. The production earned nominations for two Helen Hayes Awards: "Outstanding Sound Design, Resident Production", for Scott Burgess, and "Outstanding Lead Actress, Resident Play," Michael Learned.
