Folger Theatre produced Maxwell Anderson's Elizabeth the Queen, directed by Richard Clifford, from March 22 to May 4, 2003.
The Production
The production earned nominations for two Helen Hayes Awards: "Outstanding Sound Design, Resident Production," for Scott Burgess, and "Outstanding Lead Actress, Resident Play," for Michael Learned.
