![]() |
Shakespeare, the Globe, and the World , one of the traveling exhibitions of the Folger, visited five museums during the period in which renovations were being carried out on the Folger buildings (1979-1981). The exhibition featured manuscripts, books, and other objects that illuminate Shakespeare and his works, the world of the English Renaissance in which he lived, and the enduring mark he left on his own and later times.
