MARC 380 Form of work

MARC field 380 in the authority format contains the class or genre to which a work belongs. May be used to differentiate a work from another work with the same title. This field is repeatable.

Policy and formulation

Try to provide at least one term from the AAT documents by conditions of production hierarchy in addition to an appropriate genre. Note that "monographs" is in the <document genres for literary works> hierarchy, although it seems to fit better in the conditions of production hierarchy.
