Erin Blake is Interim Head of Collection Information Services and Cataloging, and Curator of Art & Special Collections, at the Folger Shakespeare Library She holds a Ph.D. in Art History from Stanford University, and is a faculty member of Rare Book School at the University of Virginia, where she teaches “Introduction to the History of Book Illustration” every other summer. She is known in the library community for having led the editorial team writing Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials (Graphics), which was published in 2013 by the Rare Books and Manuscripts Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries in collaboration with the Library of Congress.
