Thomas C. McCall (June 8, 1932-January 9, 2008) was an English educator from Wilmington, North Carolina. To complement his passion for teaching Shakespeare to students, McCall dedicated over half of his life to collecting Shakespeareana. Beginning in 2002, he began to transfer his collection of over 300 items to the Folger Shakespeare Library.

Contents of the collection include art and objects, such as Staffordshire porcelain, Wedgwood, Parian busts and figures, bronzes, Derby and Chelsea porcelain, Prattware Pottery, glass and metal busts and figures, and engravings. For a full list of McCall Collection items, please consult the inventory. Please be advised that much of the collection has not yet been accessioned. Therefore some items listed in the inventory may not be available for consultation.
