Named as one of the nation’s leading intellectuals by the New York Times, author and professor Stephen L. Carter has influenced the national debate on issues ranging from the role of religion in politics and culture to integrity’s place in our daily lives. In a conversation moderated by Walter Dellinger, Professor Carter discussed his work.

Professor Stephen L. Carter came to the Folger Theatre to discuss his work, which includes New England White, Reflections of an Affirmative Action Baby, God’s Name in Vain and The Emperor of Ocean Park. He is the William Nelson Cromwell Professor of Law at Yale, where he has taught since 1982.
