Folger Theatre presented Shakespearean Women: A Theatre Festival of Famous 19th-century Actresses and The Shakespearean Women They Portrayed from October 5 to November 6, 1994 in the Folger's Elizabethan Theatre. It included three performances.

Wonderful Women

Wonderful Women: A Tour Around America with Ellen Terry and the Only Man She Ever Loved– William Shakespeare opened the Shakespearean Women festival, and played from October 5 to October 9, 1994. The production was devised by Eunice Roberts.

Otho E. Eskin's Duet: The Magical, Mythical Meeting of Legendary Actress Sarah Bernhardt and Rival Eleonora Duse was presented by the Folger Theatre and SCENA Theatre was the final play to be performed at the Shakespearean Women festival. It was performed from October 29 to November 6. 1994.
