Wonderful Women

Eunice Roberts (Ellen Terry), Wonderful Women, Folger Theatre, 1994. Devised by Eunice Roberts. Directed by Graham Callan. James Loyce.

Wonderful Women: A Tour Around America with Ellen Terry and the Only Man She Ever Loved– William Shakespeare opened the Shakespearean Women festival, and played from October 5 to October 9, 1994. The production was devised by Eunice Roberts.

An Audience with Fanny Kemble: An Evening of Reflection with 19th-century Actress, Abolitionist, and Diarist Fanny Kemble was the second performance of the Shakespearean Women festival, and played from October 12 to 16, 1994.

Otho E. Eskin's Duet: The Magical, Mythical Meeting of Legendary Actress Sarah Bernhardt and Rival Eleonora Duse was presented by the Folger Theatre and SCENA Theatre was the final play to be performed at the Shakespearean Women festival. It was performed from October 29 to November 6. 1994.
