Roxane Gay is a fiction writer and essayist whose most recent works are the story collection Difficult Women, the best-selling essay collection Bad Feminist, and the novel An Untamed State. Morgan Parker is the author of Other People’s Comfort Keeps Me Up At Night, which was selected by Eileen Myles for the 2013 Gatewood Prize and a finalist for the Poetry Society of America's Norma Farber First Book Award. Both of these incisive cultural observers press us to consider more carefully our understandings of racial and gender identity, movies and magazines, torture and love.
