Research guides have been built to assist researchers with their search for materials in the Folger Shakespeare Library collection, to facilitate use of paper and electronic resources available through the institution, and to provide suggestions for further reading and research to users. Research guides should not be confused with Finding aids, which provide hierarchical arrangement and description for manuscript and other archival materials.

Please note some resources have been repeated if they overlap with other topics.
