On January 19, 2015 at 11:00am, the O.B. Hardison Poetry Series celebrated the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a combined program of dramatic readings of speeches, poetry, and an open-mic session. This event was co-sponsored by Split This Rock and was held in the The Haskell Center for Education and Public Programs. The event featured poets Niki Herd, Sarah Browning, Kenneth Carroll, and Celeste Doaks.

The Folger also collected donations for the Calvary Women's Services.
