On January 19, 2015 at 11:00am, the [[O.B. Hardison Poetry Series]] celebrated the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a combined program of dramatic readings of speeches, poetry, and an open-mic session in the [[The Haskell Center for Education and Public Programs]]. The event featured poets Abdul Ali, Kim Roberts, and Maritza Rivera, and actors Sara Barker, James Johnson, Fatima Quander, and Lilian Oben.
