  • Cave, Brian, 16th/17th cent. Miscellany of Brian Cave [manuscript], ca. 1625. V.a.402, 153 images. (Hamnet, LUNA)
  • Collection of copies of state papers and letters [manuscript], 1579-1607. V.b.142, 95 images. (Hamnet, LUNA) Some of the items have Suffolk connections, such as privy council letters to Suffolk justices, and possibly the collection was made by a Suffolk gentlemen interested in political news from home and abroad. Several concern Mary, Queen of Scots, the Earl of Essex and Raleigh. In various hands; probably written in Suffolk.
