The Production

The production received two Helen Hayes Award nominations: Floyd King was nominated for "Outstanding Lead Actor, Residential Musical," and George Fulginiti-Shakar was nominated for "Outstanding Musical Direction, Residential Play or Musical."

Entertainment unions represented in Folger Theatre productions include the Actors' Equity Association(*), which includes members of the Union of Professional Actors and Stage Managers.
