MARC fields 6XX in the bibliographic format contains subject access entries and terms. This article gives general information about subject access fields. These fields are repeatable.

Subfield delimiters Varies depending on field, some constants across the 6XX fields are:

  • For satires or other humorous material, use the $v Humor in addition to the 655 Satires.
