The Folger Shakespeare Library has several different series of card catalogs. None are currently being added to or maintained, but some contain records for material not (yet) described elsewhere.

• Main card catalog: books and maps (mostly now in Hamnet)
  • Author, title, and subject cards interfiled
  • Chronological: Continental publications before 1700
  • Chronological: English publications before 1700
  • Printer/Publisher: ?? need to check
  • Former owners

• Art card catalog (all now in Hamnet)
  • Prints: artist, title, and subject interfiled
  • Photographs: by subject
  • Drawings and watercolors: by subject on 3 x 5 cards cross-referenced to artists on photocopied cards in two 3-ring binders
  • Chronological: pre-1700 prints

• Manuscripts card catalog (all now in Hamnet)
  • Author, title, and subject cards interfiled
  • Chronological (is there a date limit?)
  • First lines of pre-1700 English poetry

• Playbills (not in Hamnet)
  • England: by city, then theater, then season (no access by actors or plays)
  • America: by city, the theater, then season (no access by actors or plays

• Costumes and props (not in Hamnet)
  • Actor
  • Play/Character
  • Garment or object type

• Illustrations (not in Hamnet)
  • STC by subject
  • Wing by subject (very incomplete)
