Joan Didion’s recent works of nonfiction include Where I Was From, Fixed Ideas: America Since 9/11, Political Fictions, and After Henry. She is the author of five acclaimed novels, most recently, The Last Thing He Wanted. The recipient of numerous national literary awards, Joan Didion is currently a contributor to The New York Review of Books and The New Yorker. Her forthcoming memoir, The Year of Magical Thinking was published in time for this October reading.
