The set model for Love's Labor's Lost, designed by Lee Savage.

Free Folger Friday: Paster Reading Room in Play, one of the Talks and Screenings at the Folger, was held in the Elizabethan Theatre and the historic Paster Reading Room on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 6:00pm.

Scenic designer Lee Savage brought the Paster Reading Room to the Folger Theatre stage for Love's Labor's Lost. At this special pre-show event, participants got a behind-the-scenes look at the space itself with Folger Docents Kathleen Kovach and Larry Plotkin, and Folger Theatre Technical Director Charles Flye.

Audiences were invited to compare and contrast the designs as they moved through both the Reading Room and the theater, learning how designing scenic elements is different from designing permanent structures and spaces. Guides were sure to point out "easter eggs" on the set for audiences to look out for during the performance.
