This event occurred on January 16, 2006 at 8:00pm in the Folger's Elizabethan Theatre. Anthony Grooms presided over the event as Master of Ceremonies which featured award-winning fiction by emerging writers in PEN/Faulkner’s celebrated Writers in Schools program.

Anthony Grooms is the author of the novel Bombingham; a collection of poetry, Ice Poems; and a book of short stories, Trouble No More. The recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship and a finalist for the Legacy Award from the Zora Neale Hurston/Richard Wright Foundation, he is a professor of writing and literature in Atlanta and serves on the PEN/Faulkner Writers in Schools National Advisory Council.
