Pre-printed indenture, filled-in in manuscript, Folger call number X.d.646

Blank forms from the early modern period can be found in several places in the Folger collection. Most are pre-printed, but some are entirely in manuscript. A few were never used, and are still blank, but most have been filled in. Generally, they have manuscript collection call numbers (because they're most safely stored flat, in individual paper folders) even when they are cataloged following guidelines for printed texts (so that they can be found together with other instances of the same pre-printed blank form).

To find blank forms in Hamnet, search for Blank forms in the Genre/Form field at https://hamnet.folger.edu. To find blank forms in Finding aids search for Printed form in the "Search anywhere" box at https://findingaids.folger.edu.
