The Folger holdings are rich in translations and editions of Greek and Roman authors. Below is an alphabetical list of works created or printed before 1600 held in the Folger collection. We also hold many seventeenth-century editions, such as ''[http://hamnet.folger.edu/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?BBID=151436 Poetae minores Graeci]'' of 1684 which was based on the edition prepared by Henri Estienne.
The Folger holdings are rich in early modern editions of Greek and Roman authors. Below is an alphabetical list of works created or printed before 1600 held in the Folger collection. The Folger holdings are rich in early modern editions of Greek and Roman authors. Below is an alphabetical list of works created or printed before 1600 held in the Folger collection. Authors who are especially well represented--including Aristotle, Cicero, Horace, Homer, Ovid, Plutarch, and Virgil--will be presented in their own articles.

We also hold many seventeenth-century editions, such as Poetae minores Graeci of 1684 which was based on the edition prepared by Henri Estienne.
