Edward P. Jones and Nam Le were the winners of its 2010 prize. Mr. Jones, a Pulitzer Prize winner in 2004 for his novel “The Known World,” was cited for short story collections like “Lost in the City” (from 1992) and “All Aunt Hagar’s Children” (2007). Mr. Le, a Vietnamese-born writer who splits his time between the United States and Australia, was honored for his debut collection, “The Boat,” which was published in 2008. Mr. Jones and Mr. Le will a share a prize of $5,000 and take part in the 2010-11 PEN/Faulkner Reading Series at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington.
