Folger Theatre presented their production of The Tempest from October 28 to December 3, 2000 in the Folger's Elizabethan Theatre. Scott Burgess and Dan Covey won Helen Hayes Awards, "Outstanding Sound Design, Resident Play or Musical," and "Outstanding Lighting Design, Resident Play or Musical" respectively for their work in the production.
