The PEN/Faulkner Foundation brings together American writers and readers in a wide variety of programs to promote a love of literature.

The Folger Shakespeare Library hosts the annual PEN/Faulkner Award Ceremony. The event features the judges’ citations for each finalist’s book, the conferral of the PEN/Faulkner Award, and a reading by each author. The Award Ceremony & Reading is followed by a buffet dinner held in the Folger's Old Reading Room.
