On January 20, 2014, the O.B. Hardison Poetry Series celebrated the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a combined program of dramatic readings of speeches and poetry. The American Poetry Museum co-sponsored the event, held at the The Haskell Center for Education and Public Programs. The Folger also collected donations for the Calvary Women's Services.
