The American Poetry Museum co-sponsored the event, held at the The Haskell Center for Education and Public Programs. It featured poets Abdul Ali, Fred Joiner, and Venus Thrash, and actors Liz Mamana and Theodore Snead.
The Folger also collected donations for the Calvary Women's Services.
