Folger Theatre presented their production of The Tempest from October 28 to December 3, 2000 in the Folger's Elizabethan Theatre. Scott Burgess and Dan Covey each won a Helen Hayes Award, "Outstanding Sound Design, Resident Play or Musical," and "Outstanding Lighting Design, Resident Play or Musical," respectively, for their work in the production.
