Folger Friday: What's Your Poison?, one of the Talks and Screenings at the Folger, was held in the historic Paster Reading Room of the Folger Shakespeare Library on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 6:00pm.
Audiences gathered before the evening's performance of King John to enjoy whodunit activities and wicked sweet surprises.
Guests were among the first to experience a docent-led tour on the ghosts, ghouls, and spooky secrets of the Paster Reading Room, a unique look at the Folger's grandest space. Activities included: a walkthrough of Folger collection images depicting some of the craziest early modern crimes, message-in-a-bottle-making for friends (or enemies), and a spooky photo booth.
The Folger partnered with local vendors for this event. Lyon Distilling Co. mixed up complimentary signature cocktails and offered samples of their own delicious rum and liquor potions. The Dangerously Delicious Pies food truck was on-site for the evening.
