Cyrano (Folger Theatre, 2011)

Folger Theatre performed their production of Cyrano, written by Edmond Rostand and translated and adapted by Michael Hollinger, from April 26 to June 12, 2011 in the Folger's Elizabethan Theatre. Aaron Posner won the Helen Hayes Award for "Outstanding Director, Resident Production". Cyrano was nominated for several other Helen Hayes Awards, including, "Outstanding Ensemble, Resident Play", "the Charles MacArthur Award for Outstanding New Play", "Outstanding Choreography, Resident Production" for Dale Anthony Girard, "Outstanding Lighting Design, Resident Production", for Thom Weaver, "Outstanding Resident Play", and "Outstanding Set Design, Resident Production", for Daniel Conway.
