Fo-lympics was a Folger staff event, organized by Rebecca Scott in the Office of Special Events, in which staff members participated in a variety of Folger Olympic events - "Fo-lympics." The events varied from year to year, but often centered around librarian-specific tasks. Examples include speed alphabetizing catalog cards, "snake" toss, croquet, Bocce ball, ladies' arm wrestling, tea-cart relay, etc. The last Fo-lympics was held in 2012. |
